North Forty Films draws inspiration from the concept of the "North Forty" - a specific section of land or property located at the northernmost part of a farm or ranch, representing a place of opportunity and potential. As a small but dynamic film company, we explore new ideas and push the boundaries of what is possible in film production. We are committed to telling unique and captivating stories that resonate with audiences and leave a lasting impression, much like how the North Forty represents a distinct and memorable section of land. Megan's childhood home was actually located at the northernmost part of her family's farm, so having grown up on the North Forty herself, Megan has a deep appreciation and connection to adventure and the outdoors.

Megan's journey to becoming a filmmaker also included pursuing her passion for firefighting and is a testament to her dedication, tenacity and grit. Despite the challenges of juggling two demanding careers, she remains committed to making a difference in her community both as a firefighter and a filmmaker. Since founding her company in 2016, Megan has been fortunate to collaborate with a diverse array of companies, utilizing her filming and editing skills. She has an extensive portfolio covering a wide range of projects, including documentaries, corporate videos, marketing campaigns, event coverage, and more.
